What time is check-in?
3PM PST.
What time is check-out?
11AM. Late check-out may be accommodated upon request but is not guaranteed.
Am I able to check in early?
Check-in is at 3PM, but if your cottage is ready, we will accommodate early check-in. Otherwise, luggage storage is available.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Reservations are final. Contact us at least 72 hours before check-in to request a reschedule, but additional charges may apply.
How far are you from San Diego International Airport (SAN)?
We are 27 miles from SAN.
Is there a minimum age to reserve a hotel room?
Yes, 21.
What time does the front office and Eighteen Seventy Store close?
The store is open from 9AM – 10PM daily.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available, though it may be spotty due to our location.
Accommodation and Amenities
Will I be charged for extra guests occupying my cottage?
No charge for additional guests up to the cottage’s maximum occupancy. Extra guests not included in the reservation need to purchase a day pass.
Can I bring outside alcohol to the Ranch?
No, please enjoy our selection of local wines and other beverages on-site.
Do you have connecting rooms?
No, but you can rent the entire Ranch if desired.
Do you have baby cribs on-site?
We have Pack N’ Plays but no cribs.
Do you offer dry cleaning/laundry services?
No, unfortunately.
What is your smoking policy?
100% non-smoking, including vaping and other substances. A $500 cleaning fee applies for smoking in the room.
Pool and Recreational Facilities
If I am a guest, do I have access to the pool, cabanas, and lounge chairs?
Yes, all hotel guests have complimentary pool access. Cabanas can be reserved, and lounge chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What are the hours of the pool?
10AM – 10PM. Non-hotel guests can book pool passes from 10AM – 6PM.
What are the hours of the family games deck?
10AM – 10PM daily. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do you have a lifeguard at the pool?
No, please supervise your friends and children.
Can I still enjoy the pool after checkout?
Yes, you may use the pool after checkout.
Can my kids bring their bikes, scooters, and skateboards?
Yes, they are welcome to use them inside the property.
Dining and Food
Do you serve breakfast/lunch/dinner?
We offer a limited menu including salads, sandwiches, and snacks. A breakfast basket is provided during check-in. Instacart, Target, and UberEats can deliver to the Ranch.
Pet policies
What is your pet policy?
$100 one-time non-refundable fee, maximum of two pets per reservation. No cats allowed. Additional fees may apply for damages or deep cleaning.
Booking and Events
If I want to host an event, how do I get in contact with sales and events?

Can I do a photoshoot or filming at your hotel?
Please email us at [email protected] for approval before arriving with a camera crew.
Other Information
I want to check the property out before I make a reservation. Can I visit?
No, the gates are closed to the public. Visit our website and Instagram (@bandy.canyon) for photos and information.
Can I meet the rescues at Canyon Farm Animal Sanctuary?
Tours are available for $5 per person, with proceeds going to the rescues. Closed-toe shoes are required.
Do you charge for incidentals?
Yes, a temporary hold is placed on your card and released at checkout. It may take 3-5 business days for the release to process.
Can my kids bring their bikes, scooters, and skateboards?
Yes, they are welcome to use them inside the property.
